by TYVI, The Youth Vision Policy Institute
(TYVPI) is an independent, non-political,
and not-for-profit think tank that engages governments,
other institutions, and the public toward the
development of youth friendly public policy.
Mission
TYVPI
seeks to inform and broaden youth public policy
discussions in Kenya through research, analysis,
and information dissemination so as to accelerate
Kenya's social and economic development.
TYVPI
brings together researchers and policy analysts
to engage governments, for profit and not-for-profit
organizations, and the public to elucidate public
policy debates in order to enhance good policy
formulation and implementation in Kenya.
TYVPI conducts research and publishes findings
to assist national and local governments, businesses,
private institutions (for profit and not-for-
profit) and the public in making policy choices
that are responsive to the needs of youth and
the country in general.

Scholars
TYVPI affiliate scholars regularly conduct
research on issues pertaining to youth, write
policy briefs, books, monographs, papers, articles,
and opinion pieces; testify before parliamentary
committees; and participate in various public
youth events.

Fellows
TYVPI engages renowned researchers as research
fellows for expertise in their areas of specialization.
The fellows are available to comment and discuss
issues in their respective areas of expertise
with journalists from print, radio, and television
etc.
